Spin Rewriter API Guide
Spin Rewriter’s API extends rewriting into custom applications and workflows, but successful automation still needs safeguards around meaning and output quality.
What the API currently supports
The official API documentation lists actions for checking quota, returning processed text with spintax, producing a unique variation, and producing a unique variation from existing spintax. Requests use HTTP POST and responses are returned as JSON.
Current daily limit
The product documentation currently states a maximum of 500 API requests per day. Treat that as a live product limit rather than a permanent architectural assumption.
Good integration patterns
- Internal editorial tools with a review queue.
- Controlled content-repurposing workflows.
- Applications that need structured text variations.
- Systems that keep source and rewritten versions available for comparison.
What to validate
Test failure handling, quota behavior, encoding, long inputs, protected terms, and the human-review step. A technically valid response says nothing about whether the rewritten text is accurate or appropriate to publish.
